You're interested in doing the bilingual Matura at our school? On this page you will find some more information; meet the people who teach their subjects in English (= immersion teaching); and find some links to examples of worksheets or to the teachers' own homepages, so that you can get a better impression of what immersion is all about.

If you decide to go for the bilingual Matura, you will do at least four of the following five subjects in English: history, physics, geography, mathematics, chemistry.

During the first year, most subjects are still taught in German; the exception is maths, where the immersion begins after the first semester. The rest of the subjects change to teaching in English in the second school year. In autumn of your second year, you will also do an intensive three-week course at a language school in England, to give you more practice and boost your self-confidence and motivation to use English in many different situations.
